End Game

End Game - 4th book in the series. It's 2012 and the dawn of the Mayan Apocalypse, according to legend and theories. FBI agent Lili Foxworthy and her brilliant actor husband Peter Wolff, decide that a trip to the Yucatan peninsula is in order. They need a bit of R&R after a bad year and also, Peter is in a play about the Mayan empire and the forewarned apocalypse, and thinks that some local color will add to the authenticity. They meet a few Mayan priests, a few bad characters, and Peter learns more about some of his own ancient ancestry.
